HOW DO YOU GET BED BUGS?
Bed bugs are hitchhikers. They travel in luggage, on clothing, inside boxes, and even on the soles of your shoes. They can be found in hotels, movie theaters, banks, doctors offices, schools, on public transportation, and any other public venue.
Where Do Bed Bugs Hide?
Bed Bugs are not devoted soley to your bed. Bed Bugs are small and flat, they are able to squeeze into tiny cracks and crevices on the mattress and box spring, behind headboards, and inside furniture. They also hide behind picture frames, in clothing, cloth bags, baseboards and even light switch covers.

You should never attempt to treat bed bugs yourself, or with do-it-yourself products. The products actually interfere with the professional treatment you will need when you discover your home remedies were futile. These products simply drive the bed bugs into hiding. Another side note, DO NOT THROW AWAY YOUR BELONGINGS! Most items, including mattresses and furniture, can be treated! This prevents the bugs from being carried through your home or worse yet, spreading them to someone else!
